Fitia is a nutrition app with automatic meal plans, made by Nutrition Technologies SAC and popular in Spain and Latin America. Its website shows no prices: “View plans” opens the in-app paywall. We make Calorix, a competing app, so every fact here comes from Fitia’s website, its terms or its App Store listings, checked on October 23, 2026.
What’s free in Fitia
Fitia publishes its own “Premium vs Free” table (Fitia). On the free plan you can count calories and log food, but:
- the verified food database is “Limited” and you can track “Only 4” meals a day;
- barcode scanning, photo, voice and text logging and creating foods with AI are Premium;
- custom calorie and macro targets, smart adjustments and Apple/Google Health sync are Premium;
- intermittent fasting and automatic meal planning (with a shopping list) are Premium;
- progress tracking is “Only weight”, and the free plan shows ads.
Cronometer, MyNetDiary and Yazio, by comparison, keep a barcode scanner in their free plans.
How much Fitia Premium costs
These are Fitia’s plan-labelled in-app purchases on October 23, 2026:
| Plan | US App Store | UK App Store | Spanish App Store |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $19.99 | £8.99 or £10.99 | €9.99 or €12.99 |
| 3 months | $23.99 | £21.49 | €23.99 |
| 6 months | $35.99 | £17.49 or £32.49 | €35.99 |
| 12 months | $53.99, $58.99 or $59.99 | £30.99, £32.99 or £33.99 | €39.99 or €59.99 |
| Family, 1 year | $89.99 | £49.99 | not listed |
In Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, 12 months was listed at €35.99 to €39.99 and the family plan at €59.99; in Mexico, 1 month from MXN 115 and 12 months from MXN 609. Several prices for one plan are different offers; the App Store shows the price and period before you confirm. Fitia also sells Premium on its website (app.fitia.app). In some stores it also sells “Fitia Coins”.
On the US store the monthly plan is the expensive way to pay: 12 months cost about the same as three months on the monthly plan.
The free trial
Fitia’s terms say the app “may offer, in its sole discretion, a free trial period”, and that if you’re on one, you’re charged “at the end of the trial period (unless early termination)” (Fitia terms). No standard length is published.
How to cancel Fitia
From Fitia’s terms (Fitia terms):
- App Store or Google Play: “cancellations can be made directly through the respective store”. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Fitia → Cancel Subscription (Apple Support).
- Website: log in to your account and open “Manage Subscription”.
Refunds
For App Store and Google Play purchases, Fitia says refund requests “should be directed to the respective store”. For website purchases: “If it’s been less than 48 hours since you bought a subscription through our website, you can request a refund”, by emailing [email protected] with your account and transaction details.
Is Fitia Premium worth it?
Fitia is the better choice if you want automatic meal plans with recipes and a shopping list, in six languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian), and you’ll take a 6- or 12-month plan; the family plan is useful if several people at home want Premium.
It’s less of a fit if you want a usable free plan: the free version has no barcode scanner, limits you to 4 meals a day and shows ads.
Alternatives
- Free apps with a barcode scanner: Cronometer and MyNetDiary keep it in their free plans; see Cronometer price, MyNetDiary price and the full list in free calorie counter apps.
- Yazio: free version with a barcode scanner, PRO paid upfront; see Yazio PRO price.
- Calorix (our app, iPhone only): barcode, search and manual logging are free without a limit, plus 3 free AI photo scans a day and the basic fasting plans; Pro is $3.99 a week, $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US after a 3-day free trial. It has no Android app and no family plan.
The head-to-head is in Calorix vs Fitia; 15 apps’ prices are in calorie app prices in 2026.
